SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it really is alarmed with regards to the significant range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to sassa service the area regularly. The service point created for intervention ordeals a significant inflow of probable beneficiaries, that read more makes it tricky with the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
